Kurt VonBergen and Christopher Henderson met during their years of secondary education. Kurt focused on Business Finance & Human Resource Management while Christopher specialized in Marketing & Hospitality. We found that their individual fields complemented each other’s in surprising, and what turned out to be inseparable, ways. Technology was changing the arts and vice versa. This made them eager to cultivate their own practice, one that would effectively intersect their expertise with their respective interests. They believe that what makes a creative business thrive is the passion that drives it. Choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will protect it as if it were your own.
KVB Consulting began in 2012. Since then, they've facilitated the success of not-for-profits, small businesses and even established financial institutions. Now they are dedicated to the growth of the company, partnering with larger corporations yet still focusing on the same principals that got them to where they are today. Kurt VonBergen
Born and raised in central New York, Kurt has been in the hospitality business all his life. He worked his way up the ladder through various restaurants, hotels, and financial institutions. His experience, coupled with his educational background in finance and hospitality management, he focuses his experience on business development and growth through cost controlling, service standards, and sales & marketing.
He offers over ten years of restaurant and hotel operations experience and has worked across different lines of business that include entertainment and nightlife, conference centers, as well as privately owned boutique hotels and fine dining restaurants. He also has experience with task force style pre-opening, multi outlet management, renovations and corporate transitions.

Andrew Maunz
Andrew is an accomplished hospitality industry professional, experienced in private country clubs, hotels, fine dining, night life and other restaurant environments. He has a record of excellence in devising and implementing productivity and cost improvements that contribute to positive financial results while improving member/guest services. Andrew is a well respected professional in the field. He specializes in turnaround of under-performing bar & restaurant operations, implementing purchasing and inventory control systems that lower operating costs, establishment of policies that recruit, develop and retain employees, and reducing labor costs through structured training programs and efficient staff deployment. He has extensive experience in food service environments in both the front and back of the house.
